In April 2014, violinist Rachel Panitch became the first musician to serve as Artist in Residence at Utah's Zion National Park. The nine original compositions featured on this album—for string quartet, vibraphone and violin trio, cello and violin folk duo, solo violin, and voice— were inspired by the natural beauty of that majestic place (and some even incorporate sounds of the area). These lovely and peaceful tunes will lift the spirits of naturalists and music lovers alike! Running time: about 30 minutes.
