If "brevity is the soul of wit," Quiddler is the cleverest card game you'll play this year! The rules are short and sweet: Use letter cards, each with a specific point value, to spell words and collect points. Players compete for eight rounds, with a higher number of cards (creating more/longer words) in each successive round. Along the way, players can collect bonuses for building the most words in a round or for creating the longest word. For 1 to 8 players, ages 8 and up. Quiddler Junior (UM7902), for players ages 6 and older, follows the same general rules, but with illustrated cards suggesting short words that begin with that card's letter. For example, an "O" card features a picture of an owl with the word spelled out beneath. It's a fun and educational game for early readers ready to put their newfound skills to use…but who could use a little help along the way!
