Letter From Our Editors

The azaleas are blooming--glorious spring is here at last!
We hope it’s bright and lovely wherever you are and send you sunny tidings from Georgia. Though our home office, call center, and warehouse are in Ohio, our editorial office remains in Bas Bleu’s hometown of Atlanta--in a refurbished warehouse, now called The Blue Horse, that once was home to the Montag Brothers Co. paper factory. You might remember their old Blue Horse paper and school supplies--popular, especially in the South, from the 1930s to 1960s. We’re pleased to offer reproductions of vintage Blue Horse composition books, with the familiar equine logo, on page 67. The notebooks are just one of a record-breaking number of new items in this spring edition of Bas Bleu.
