  We love the droll little image of a squirrel reading a book called Nuts that Atlantabased cartoonist Allen Spetnagel created for one of our catalog covers a while back. So we asked him to come up with more drawings of literary critters for us! Our adorably clever Bookish Beasts Note Cards feature Spetnagel's witty squirrel, of course, along with a cultured cat perusing Prrrsuasion, an erudite owl deep into the classic Wuthering Hoots, and a precocious pup taking an upside-down gander at Cat's R Stoopid.
