Fast-paced and infinitely challenging, Quickword is a great game for quick thinkers with big vocabularies. A roll of the die will land you on a colored square (or on a "choice" square, in which case you pick a color). Draw a card from the appropriately colored deck and give the spinner a twirl. Then each player must write as many words as possible that conform to the strictures of the card before the timer runs out. For example, you might have to list all the geographical terms (or film titles, or mammals…) you can think of that start with the letter "M" (or whatever letter the spinner may point to). Or you might have to brainstorm words containing the letter indicated by the spinner and starting with "de." Sure to keep word lovers happily on their toes, Quickword is lots of fun for two or more players, ages 12 to adult.
